VMware vRealize Code Stream

Contributor(s): Tom Walat

VMware vRealize Code Stream is an automated DevOps tool in the vRealize Suite that uses a dashboard and controls to manage the delivery of an application from development to testing to publication.

VMware vRealize Code Stream uses templates to model the software development process and gating rules to prevent software from moving to the next stage in the pipeline unless it meets certain criteria.

VMware vRealize Code Stream integrates with deployment engines such as Chef, Puppet and vRealize Automation and with continuous integration frameworks and testing frameworks. VMware vRealize Code Stream can be enhanced by using plug-ins from JFrog Artifactory or vRealize Orchestrator – formerly VMware Orchestrator.
