VMware vSphere Remote Office Branch Office is a new vSphere product announced by VMware at VMworld 2014. With vSphere ROBO, a customer can buy 25 virtual machines -- $3,000 in the standard edition or $4,500 for the advanced version – and use them across multiple sites.

The standard ROBO edition includes: vMotion, Storage vMotion, High Availability, Data Protection, Fault Tolerance, vShield Endpoint, vSphere Replication and hot add features.

The advanced ROBO edition has the same features as the standard ROBO edition and also includes vSphere Distributed Switch, host profiles and auto deploy functionality.
