Virtualizing may cost more, but the benefits are worth it

Do the benefits of virtualization outweigh its costs? Ever since virtualization became a viable technology for data centers, this debate has raged within IT circles. In this article, Siebert refutes the argument that companies are virtualizing servers because its trendy, but it's not cost effective.
