About Remote administrative options
There are now several options for administering VMware remotely, from a smart phone or iPhone. The most popular are VMware vCenter Mobile Access, or VCMA; Hyper9's Virtualization Manager Mobile, or VMM; the VMware Infrastructure Remote CLI; and the VMware Infrastructure SDK, or VI SDK.
While VCMA and VMM are both designed to work with a smart phone, the Remote CLI and VI SDK are both Web services that allow administrators to manage VMware operations from outside the data center.
Here, you'll find articles on using the various remote administration tools and a detailed series on leveraging the VI SDK.
