This week chinwaggie is Rick Vanover. He’s a Software Strategy Specialist at Veeam Software, and in a previous life worked as a Systems Engineer at Siemens Dematic.

Like many folks in the virtualization community he’s very active on his BLOG and on TWITTER.

Our discussions were very wide ranging and we discussed Rick’s thoughts about Bring-Your-Own-PC (BYOPC) models, Legacy & Older software, Setting up his Hyper-V lab – and finally we discussed the rate of change and churn in VMware in terms of new software.
